Our Mission
Our mission here at The Woods Family and Cosmetic Dentistry is to create an alternative to the stand-alone practice. Our goal is a "dental home" in the State College area consisting of a collaboration between multiple specialties, facilitating and enhancing patient experience and restorative outcomes.
Our Team
Dr. Jason Stetson, DMD
Dr. Stetson is a State College native, alumnus of both State High and Penn State. He then went on to Temple University’s School of Dentistry. Jason offers a wide range of modern dental services for adults and children. From preventive care to restorative and cosmetic dentistry, your entire family can benefit from his skillful and gentle work. He resides in Boalsburg with his husband, Matthew, and their son Fox. As a family, they enjoy all things outdoors and especially enjoy their winter ski trips and summer camping adventures.
Hannah Allen, RDH
Hannah is a 2014 Pennsylvania College of Technology graduate of Dental Hygiene and Health Policy Administration. Hannah is a “Jill of all trades.” She works as our office manager and is an excellent dental hygienist, passionately dedicated to maintaining her patients’ oral health. Her chatty and amiable nature leave her patients with a smile. She lives in Mill Hall with her husband, Clay and her two energetic boys, Torin and Oaks. Together, they enjoy a variety of sporting events and outdoor adventures to various National Parks.
Sam Coleman, RDH
Samantha is an upbeat dental hygienist who graduated from Pennsylvania College of Technology in 2019 with her associate degree in dental hygiene. Her gentle hand and kind nature make Samantha a joy to see routinely for all your preventive oral hygiene needs! Samantha has lived most of her life right here in Central Pennsylvania. Sam currently resides in Howard with her husband Matthew and sweet rescue pup, Tater.
Maria Thaler, RDH
Maria is a 2010 Pennsylvania College of Technology graduate of Dental Hygiene and Health Policy Administration. Her background as a Public Health Dental Hygienist Practitioner is helpful when it comes to educating her patients and providing exceptional care. Maria resides in Hollidaysburg with her husband, Brian, and two children, Izzy and Bennett. As a family they love everything fun in the sun, spending time along the river at their family cottage, and cuddling up for a good movie night.
Diana Young, EFDA
Diana is our expanded function dental assistant. She has been working alongside Jason since he started his practice. They work very well together to make your dental experience efficient as possible. Diana is from the Czech Republic and currently resides in Boalsburg. She loves all animals and her passions include skiing, biking, and traveling.
Kerri Turnbaugh-Wong, CDA
Kerri is one of our talented certified dental assistants who received her schooling at the Greater Altoona Career and Technology Center. She is passionate about her work and always strives for perfection. Kerri resides in Philipsburg with her husband, Henry, and son, Gage. Kerri and her husband can often be found walking their two dogs, Kylo and Kobe, or teaming up to plan events in the community.
